Use in the field
What makes this computer good is in harsh environments. Both tablets and keyboards comply with the IP65 standard for protection against dust and water ingress. This means that it can be used for heavy rain, sand, and dust. The integrated handle makes the device ready to carry and stable, and the keyboard keys, which are 8% larger than previous generation devices, complete data entry easier.
Panasonic has done a great job of manufacturing tablets with high-sensitivity multi-touch screens. Unlike most tablets, this allows you to use a stylus with fine points (most tablets require a stylus of about 6 mm). This makes writing and annotations much more accurate.
To use the touch screen in the rain, your tablet must be in “touch/water” mode. There are tiny drops on the screen, so there is no performance issue. To solve this problem, shake the screen with water or turn off the screen and clean it by hand.
